Mens Sharkskin Suits

Every man should own at least one suit. Mens Sharkskin suits are one option, but knowing more about buying suits can help you pick the right sharkskin suit for you. Getting a tailor made suit is optimal, but not everyone can afford that and there are plenty of suits you can buy retail that will look just as good.

Mens Sharkskin Suits

Fabric
Naturally you can choose sharkskin for your suit, but if you don’t want a shark skin suit opt for a wool suit. Wool is natural and it breathes well. Wool is also stylish. Tweed can add weight and it is not breathable so it can cause you to overheat.

Single VS Double Breasted
If you have a slender physique you can wear both single or double breasted. If you are heavy set you should opt for a single breasted suit. Double breasted jackets are more formal.

Collar
The collar of your suit should hug the back of your neck. Your shirt should stick out from your collar about 1 inch.

Arms and Sleeves
The sleeve of your suit coat should end where your hand meets your wrist. Your shirt should be a quarter of an inch longer than your suit jacket sleeve.

Buttons
It is generally best to chose a suit with two buttons. One button suits look best on men that have a slender physique. Avoid three button jackets because they are not in fashion anymore.

Vents
If you have a slender build you should opt for a jacket that has no vents. If you are larger in build choose a jacket with two vents in the back.
